Sleep it All
Cotton's been in a phase for about two weeks now, where she's not sleeping. At first, I blamed it on the walking, giving her mind a lot to process. Then she started babbleyapping all the time, so I blamed her mind needing to process that.
Now I think she just hates me. She specifically yells only during dialogue of shows I'm hoping to watch. She falls asleep, starts snoring, then screams when I put her down (sometime with helpful pooping! which doesn't increase the yelling/frustration levels at. all.). She hasn't gone more than 3 hours in bed in I don't know how long. I'm very close to setting up a lab-rat schedule, and just pretending she's a monkey. I haven't really gotten any solid use out of my fancy-pants degree lately, so that'd be good. And while I do that I could also plot the construction of a babysleep virus, which would knock kids out for ten hours and have them wake up mannerly and helpful. I could take over the world!
If I weren't, you know, tired.
Eventually, she'll be in her crib and sleeping, but in the meantime it's not a lot of fun. Also not fun is ToysRUs on Dec 23rd, it turns out. I did find what I needed though. And if I can stand to wrap it, we'll be all set.
Tape, anyone?
